Television programming has been a critical component of APCA's operational focus since its inception. APCA has more than 1700 hours of audiovisual programming in news, current affairs, travel, history, development and marketing communication and is credited with producing one of the longest running breakfast shows on Doordarshan's Metro channel, The First Edition, and with pioneering the news-based spoof concept on Indian television.

APCA's clientele includes such prestigious organizations as Sony, The European Commission, UNHCR, UNDP, Indian Airlines, Rotary International and Doordarshan, the largest terrestrial network in the world with 1,314 transmitters that cover close to 90% of India's population.

APCA is accredited or empanelled with various organisations as a premier producer of audio-visual and audio properties. These include: Doordarshan, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India; Ministry of Agriculture; Department of Science & Technology; Uttaranchal Tourism (Government of Uttaranchal); the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), the largest educational institution in Asia; the National Museum of Natural History, the Department of Audio-Visual Publicity (DAVP); and the Ministry of Adult Education.
